Founded in 2008 by Sharon and Kenneth, SK Homemade Cakes began as a humble home bakery in Penang, supplying freshly baked cakes and pastries to local cafés and restaurants.

What started as a small dream rooted in authentic flavors has grown into a trusted Malaysian brand, serving thousands of happy customers nationwide. Over the years, our menu and reach have evolved, but our core promise remains unchanged: homemade quality, real ingredients, and baking with heart.

📜 How Our Journey & Menu Evolved

Every step of our story represents a new chapter of listening to our customers, perfecting our craft, and breaking barriers in fresh cake delivery.

• 2008 – The Beginning

  We launched our very first baked creations: soft sponge cakes, rich cheesecakes, delicate tarts, crispy puffs, and classic everyday pastries.

• 2009–2010 – The Art of Mille Crepe

  We introduced handcrafted Mille Crepe cakes, meticulously building dozens of paper-thin layers to deliver unmatched texture and flavor.

• 2012 – Mindful Baking: Eggless Cakes

  Recognizing the needs of our lacto-vegetarian community, we pioneered eggless recipes powered by soy and whey protein—without compromising on fluffiness or taste.

• 2014 – Celebrating the Classics

  We expanded into classic fresh cream cakes, crafting timeless designs perfect for birthdays, weddings, and family milestones.

• 2016 – Breaking Boundaries: Nationwide Cold-Chain Shipping

  We partnered with TA-Q-BIN to launch nationwide cake shipping. By mastering cold-chain logistics, we began delivering fresh cakes directly to B2B partner cafés and B2C dessert lovers across Malaysia.

• 2021 – Healthy Lifestyle & Frozen Delights

  We launched two major innovations: low-carb, sugar-free Keto Cakes for wellness-conscious customers, and Kreamery Ice Cream Cakes for cool, decadent celebrations.

• 2023 – 100% Plant-Based & Vegan

  To ensure dairy-free and vegan customers could celebrate fully, we developed a complete line of 100% plant-based cakes made with pure, natural ingredients.
