- Suitable for: Cakes with dairy-based fillings or frostings (like fresh cream, custard, or cream cheese), cakes with fruit toppings, and most cakes.
- How to Store: Place the cake in an airtight container or wrap it in plastic wrap to prevent it from absorbing fridge odors and drying out.
- Fruit Topping Cakes: Store in the fridge and consume within few hours or same day as fruit tend to deteriorate faster.
3. Freezer -18'c (1 Weeks)
- Suitable for: Ice Cream Cake & most cakes.
- How to Store: Wrap the cake tightly in plastic wrap. Thaw in the fridge overnight before serving for most cake except Ice Cream cake.
- Tip: Avoid freezing cakes with fresh fruit toppings or delicate frostings as they may not thaw well.
