Bring extra crunch to breakfast with our Gluten-Free Mixed Seed Bagels, handmade by SK Homemade Cakes in Penang. A golden crust is generously topped with sunflower seeds, melon seeds and green pumpkin seeds, alongside white sesame, black sesame and poppyseeds. The mix adds a toasted, nutty flavour and a satisfying contrast to the chewy bagel inside.

Made with our SK gluten-free flour blend and psyllium husk, these bagels are delicious warmed, sliced and toasted. Enjoy them simply with your favourite spread, or fill them with avocado, hummus or cream cheese for an easy breakfast, lunch or afternoon snack. Each pack contains 2 pieces, making it easy to enjoy one now and save one for later.

Ingredients

Dough: SK GF Flour Blend (rice flour, potato starch, maize flour), psyllium husk, water, sugar, yeast, olive oil and sea salt.

Topping: Sunflower seeds, melon seeds, green pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, poppyseeds and sea salt.

Storage & Serving

Keep in an airtight container and enjoy within 24 hours, or freeze for up to 2 weeks. Lightly mist with water before reheating, then slice and toast to refresh the texture and bring out the seed aroma. Seed coverage and appearance may vary between handmade batches.

To keep your cakes fresh and delicious, proper storage is key. Here's a simple guide to help you extend the life of your cakes:

1. Room Temperature (1-2 Days)

• Suitable for: Butter cakes, Sujee Cake or without perishable fillings.
• How to Store: Keep the cake in an airtight container at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat.

2. Refrigerator 0'c -4'c (1-2 Days)

• Suitable for: Cakes with dairy-based fillings or frostings (like fresh cream, custard, or cream cheese), cakes with fruit toppings, and most cakes.
• How to Store: Place the cake in an airtight container or wrap it in plastic wrap to prevent it from absorbing fridge odors and drying out.
• Fruit Topping Cakes: Store in the fridge and consume within few hours or same day as fruit tend to deteriorate faster.

3. Freezer -18'c (1 Weeks)

• Suitable for: Ice Cream Cake & most cakes.
• How to Store: Wrap the cake tightly in plastic wrap. Thaw in the fridge overnight before serving for most cake except Ice Cream cake.
• Tip: Avoid freezing cakes with fresh fruit toppings or delicate frostings as they may not thaw well.
